The last two books in the Leviathan trilogy were really entertaining. Once again the creativity with the beasties and reimagining of WWI was impressive. And the conclusion was quite satisfying 📰

This review is for the audiobook:
As usual, Alan Cumming is an absolute delight to listen to. I love how he voices all the different characters (especially Bovril)! This second book in the steampunk series again blasts through at breakneck speed, this time mainly in Istanbul. I really liked that we get more character development from Deryn, the girl who poses as a boy so she can fly on the Leviathan. Overall a really enjoyable listen!

My latest #wip - a ripple blanket for my 5yo who picked his own colors (although the dark stripe in the middle that looks black is actually purple). I‘m slowly making it, sometimes while listening to Alan Cumming read Behemoth, sometimes while watching yet more Terrace House!

PickwickPlockPlock @RealLifeReading I like to try different things. Mostly scarves and shawls, but also for example a baby blanket, a shark bag for my son and a stuffed unicorn for my sister. I also like tunisian crochet, because it can look like knitting and I can't knit, no matter how often I try to learn! 6y

PickwickPlockPlock @RealLifeReading Tunisian crochet is a lot of fun and not so difficult (says she who can't master knitting, ha)! I recommend investing in a special hook with a flexible cable right from the start, though, it makes things easier! 6y

Loved this sequel even more than the original book. More machines, more fabricated creatures, and more awesome story. The plot continued so smoothly with some great interweaving plot lines about the start of WWI. The characters are fantastic and full of life. I am super excited to start the third book and see where it goes!

Finished this book on Audio today! I love listening to books on my runs/walks now that the weather is nicer. This is the sequel in the Leviathan series. I listened to the first one on audio too. This series is so great! Steampunk during the World War I period.
