This was subpar.I didn't have high expectations for a cozy mysteries.
I couldn't stand Amy. She is ridiculous with the back and forth on her relationship with Richard. She feels she is not good enough for him because she's overweight and he's hot. Snore.
so-soApparently I read this four years ago according to Goodreads. I only remember the plot from the past (a long ago murder is part of the book), so I assumed I‘d read a similar plot in another book. I remember none of the many characters and nothing that happened in the present.

pickUnlike @Pamwurtzler I was into this mystery at the beginning and didn‘t find it clunky until the end. Set in a small Virginia town, old secrets begin to bubble to the surface leading to a murder in the library. Solidly enjoyable with characters I would read about again! 3 ⭐️
