Mortals, witches, and vampires. What a great story of magic, war, mystery, and monsters. I really enjoyed Scarlett St. Claire story and I am happy book 2 is in my library!

If you want a cute Christmas romance, this is a good one for you. Devoured it in a few hours and now I feel warm and cozy.

It took a little to get into, but I like the world of this story, where humans and monsters mix so you are no longer sure who is who anymore.

Another deadly sin novel from Maniscalco. I still prefer Wrath, but I also think Envy had a decent story. I hope she plans to write about each of the brothers.

This book fell short for me. The world is interesting, but I feel like the author missed some opportunities and blew through some plot and under developed others. It wasn't bad, but I was looking for more.

What a sweet story about love and flowers. If you need something sweet and easy, this is a good one for you.

Just wow. This is a type of book I am sure will stay with me for a long time. An emotional journey for our two protagonists as they grow up and learn to move beyond the loneliness and abuse they have dealt with in life.

I have nothing but good things to say and I need book #2 now.

I wasn't expecting much from this one, but I actually really enjoyed it. Survival magic with a bit of a twist.

This book was okay, but really predictable and I wasn't a fan of the writing throughout. Some good moments, but I felt like the author wanted all this suprise and I saw every twist early on.

Shannon Chakraborty is definitely in my top authors. I have been (un)patiently waiting to get this one from the library and loved every second! I cannot wait to see what Amina's next adventure will be.

I am really happy with the way this series ended. I do want to read the Bloodline books, but this last book for Vampire Academy was on point.

Shadow Kiss was the best book thus far. Nothing mind blowing, but I am really enjoy it.

I usually love stories like this, but I don't think I was in the right head space. I liked it, but I didn't feel like I got to enjoy it.

I started Vampire Academy, not really sure I would like it. But here I am in Book 2, wanting Book 3 as quickly as possible. I am glad I am getting into this world and can not wait to continue.

The Atlas Six was a book I wanted to like, but ultimately found it just okay. Not bad, but eh.

Because I have watched the anime, I am going to skip to volume 7, but I still love these characters and storyline. I am just ready to see the newer stuff.

I started watching the anime and had to pick up the manga! These stories just feel like a warm hug and a great pick-me-up.

Overall, I enjoyed this book. I think the pacing was off at times (the ending particularly felt incredibly rushed), but I like the characters, and I definitely want to see what happens in book 2 with the way this one ended.

The story of a girl who lives in a world where monsters do not exist. At least, that's what the adults say. But Jam has met a monster whose job it is to hunt down a person hurting a child to save the child and Jam must help.

It is a great books that discusses that monsters do not always look the way we expect them to be.

What a beautiful memoir written by Maia Kobabe. Maia writes about eir experience growing up and defining eir's sexuality. There are a number of experiences e writes about as well as what e feels as an adult.

Book 2 was amazing! I enjoyed book 1, but I really enjoyed book 2! Now I have to wait a bit before Book 3 is released.

I greatly loved this YA book about a 13 year old girl who is navigating racism, homophobia, and a newborn sister who is deaf. There is so much intersectionality in this text and I will definitely reccommend this story for people in my life.

Okay, this was better then I thought it was going to be. Which also means I'll take a look at the TV show.

Okay, so I read this book only to learn that this is the fourth book of a series, ha! The author does a great job filling in the reader in with past knowledge and get you into the story. Now I need to go read the right book first!

I loved this story! Kind of reminds me of Cinderella (not exactly, but similarities). A young servant girl, who is not what she seems, catches the eye of a Prince. But at first, he thinks the girl a spy for another Kingdom. But when they finally realize they can start to trust each other, something happens to keep them a part.

Looking forward to book 2!

Such a cute YA rom-com story about a hero who saves the Kingdom but he must find a soul mate before their 18th birthday or die. Hilarity grows throught as the reader clearly sees who the hero is in love with, even if they don't see it themselves.

This book reminds me why I like historical fiction so much. Two black women find themselves in two different scenarios. One cannot get pregnant and the other is pregnant but doesn't want to be. It explores how black woman/families handled both of these types of scenarios in the 1950s.

Yep, I 100% get the hype over this book. Good story line, fun characters, enemies to lovers romance. Now I have to wait until November for the next book!

Cherish is the final book of the Crave series. I didn't think I was going to like this books, but I loved all of them. I'm glad I was able to enjoy the stories and now I have to figure out what my new series to binge will be.

I wasn't sure how much I would enjoy this story as it is between books, but I enjoyed it a lot. I think it helps set up the next book and gives you background to fill in some blanks.

Mythical creature war has arisen in the series and I was here for it. I appreciate this story and I was hooked from page one. I loved Hudson's extra chapters at the end!

I picked up "Wandering Souls" because we are looking to add it to our summer reading list. I didn't know anything about it, but I loved it! If you like stories of survival, or want to learn something about Vietnam refugees, you may enjoy this one.

The idea behind the storyline was good, but I didn't feel like the final installment was as good as the other two.

Okay, still angsty, but I really enjoyed the second book. New characters and new introductions into this world filled with magical creatures. I look forward to book 3.

Okay, so I picked this book because it was available, but it was better then I thought. It's a teen book, so it's angsty, but I liked the story.

I cannot even begin to express how much I loved this book! It was a great storyline and I loved Elizabeth Zott. It wasn't until the Q&A at the end that I realized this book is from a debute author. I cannot wait to see what Garmus writes next.

And the trilogy is officially read in full. I absolutely love these books! They get better and better each book and I am so glad the first one was recommended to me.
