I‘m finally caving and reading book 2. I listened to the first book on audio and Will Patton was the narrator. His voice and drawl were so utterly fitting to the story that I‘ve been waiting impatiently for months for my library to get the rest of the series on audio, but alas... I‘ll just have to read it in Will Patton‘s voice. ✨

Just started this, last night. It was a Christmas gift from my CP, so I‘m sure it‘ll be entertaining. Faeries in London; what‘s not to Love?

At turns bitter and then sweet, this is the story of the kids at the losers‘ table finding their footing and learning their own value, the hard way. I loved this MG story featuring a gay protagonist, a bullying father, a nasty big brother, and hope.

I got out of work early, but instead of working on the notes from my editor that I should be looking at, I‘m curled in the recliner with a cozy blanket and this fantastically written SciFi romance that is funny, amazingly deft in regards to world-building, and super sexy. I have zero regrets.

So... this is my little book baby. It‘s full of bad-ass women, found family, boys who aren‘t afraid to cry, betrayal, magic, and murder. Coming May 8 from Page Street.
