Oh my gosh, I need to gush about this book! It was amazing! Love how it inspires girl-power and that change can happen as long as we are willing to stand up for it. Definitely recommending! If this is on your unread shelf, it needs to get to the TOP of your TBR pile.

I like the premise (always had a fascination with fairies). The ending left me wanting though. The story weaving was amazing. The world Rogerson created was vivid and alive, but I wanted more action or drama with the end. A darker reaction maybe? Not sure. I like the story don‘t get me wrong, just want more.h

Perfect book for a chilly fall day. I loved it. A fabulous quick read set in a gorgeous part of my home state.

I liked the fact that even with all the grisly details (the jack-o-lantern reference got me) there was hope, love, and a community coming together. This isn‘t a story for everyone but as someone who ADORES horror films and rom-coms, I thought it was a great read.

For some inexplicable reason, I thought this was a stand alone. Should have known better. Now I get to wait for books 2&3. Bah! That being said Emi is one spunky young lady. Can't wait for adventure two!

This one took me a while to get into and it wasn't what I expected it to be. Wholly original, but still some semblance of a fairy tale. I cried, the ending did not go the way I thought it would, and I'm not entirely okay with it. I understand why but man do I wish it was different.

Ms. Bardugo does it again! Fabulous tale spun around one of my favorite heroes. Kinda want her to write another one.

It wasn't bad. There are parts that I really loved and other I was like meh. It is a slow story, the world within the circus is fabulous and I want to go visit but the ending left something to be desired

I liked this story. The mystery, deceit, love and friendship was wonderfully woven together. I'm not a fan of politics but I get why it had to be included. Not a bad read.

The graphics went beautifully with some of Poe's more famous and not so famous stories, an excellent collection. If you're a Poe fan, I suggest adding this to your collection!

Mildly broken. This duology was fabulous, I don't want it to end... please don't let it end yet.

When Dimple Met Rishi | Sandhya Menon

Such a sweet contemporary story. Dimple and Rishi have introduced me to a little more of the Hindi culture and I love how Sandhya Menon twirls the "finding the path for me" with the stereotypical norms of societal cultures. If you're looking for an easy read, give it a try!

Loved this! Bully culture feeds into so many people's lives. Jensen starts out being the outcast who people make jokes about. He daydreams a lot, loves to draw and has no idea he is being bullied. That all changes though, and Jensen's video game school survival technique doesn't work anymore. This book takes a tough topic and brings it to the forefront in a very gentle way. Brick by action brick we can change bully culture.

I knew, deep down I knew there was a reason I paused at the end of Queen of Shadows. Just like ACOMAF, such a book hangover. The difference is that I waited on the ACOTAR series until ACOWAR came out. Why didn't I listen to my gut? Now there is going to be a gapping hole until next May when the next installment comes out. Lord, I hope Chaol's story is good enough the hold us until then.

I loved learning more about my favorite assassin and what happened before Throne of Glass. The death of Sam is still a little heartbreaking. Time to go after Empire of Storms.

Finished! Slow beginning but by the end was pulled in. Now I have another series to read. Does anyone know when the sequel is coming out???

Hearthstone Omg, same. I was so ready to not like it at first but it gets so much better. I hope the sequel gets announced soon! You don't know how long a series it'll be do you? 7y
mcummings206 I heard the series is a trilogy but no clue on the next release date. I hate when they do that. 7y
Hearthstone @mcummings206 alas! I hope they say soon. 💕 7y

Not bad for a swashbuckling river rat. I saw the romance line and which god claimed her from early on. It is still a good read, plus the lettering is done in metallic/glittery silver. 😉

I FINALLY jumped into the world of ToG. I'm loving it. Not gonna lie, Manon Blackbeak and her Thirteen are swiftly becoming my favorites. Fearless Females unite! Seriously can't wait to see what they do in EoS.

Like the premise. Nuclear fallout and living with the aftermath. Addison is quit resourceful for finding a way to support her little sister, even if it's illegal. Still trying to figure out the doll though. Good or evil? Not sure. Wish I had known it was a series... would have waited for the sequel to be closer to coming out. #yalit

Friendship, love, running-for-their-lives, danger lurking around every corner and of course betrayal. I loved how Tilla figured out what she wanted in the end and that she chose to save innocents, not play the political game. Strong character by the end, oh and a little bit of romance. :)
