Quick tip for those who need it - it‘s simple to gift a Kindle book! On the product page, select the quantity and click Buy for Others. You‘ll be taken to a page where you can enter your recipient emails and personal messages to each. You can even choose when you want your gift delivered to the person‘s email!

As you may know, the #kindlitsymasterlist has been updated frequently since it went live, over several posts. Thanks to @kgriffith it‘s now a LibraryThing wiki! This allows for easier updates and one central list, as well as the ability to add/remove yourself if you have a LibraryThing account.

Gaylagal2 Here is my email for my Kindle - gaylagal2@gmail.com. Sorry, but I had a stalker on LT many years ago and haven't been back. I've heard he's in prison (seperate & serious offense) and truly hope he stays there. Nothing at all against LT as it can happen anywhere 😉 5y

Gifting to a country other than your own apparently doesn‘t work. US users can gift each other, and UK users can gift each other. If you‘re in another country, please comment if you know if gifting is available in your country!

Another option, though it removes the element of surprise: send a gift card to a user to purchase the Kindle book.

Please visit your Amazon stores‘s help section for accurate info; I‘m unable to troubleshoot.

To receive gifted books, use your regular email that you signed up to Amazon with (not your Kindle.com one). When someone gifts you, you get an email from Amazon telling you so and giving you the option to accept.

In 2017, @JoeStalksBeck compiled a list of Littens with a Kindle or the Kindle app so we could gift each other books. I thought I‘d keep the tradition going, and it‘s been so popular I thought, why limit it to the holidays?

#kindlitsy is a play on Kindle + Litsy. Add in the kindness & generosity of this community, and here we are! Gift someone a book for a holiday, special occasion, or just because!
