Not usually my kind of read but though it would be nice to learn more about the guy. Kind of guy that discuss me... and made me realize once again that I hate all the stuff around politics... it's just more or less the same, nothing pretty, all about power, narcissisme, etc. But I am still happy I read it, I am more informed:)

My daughter really wanted me to read that book as she was confused about a few part. I did not really enjoy it, I could not wait to finish it. I think the idea is great but there is a mix of things that is good for younger kids and other things too hard for them to understand so that makes a book for what age group, I am not sure. Not the kind of kids book I enjoy, and I do enjoy kids book.

Nice easy read book. Kind of beach book. Entertaining enough with interesting characters. I know lots of people do not appreciate the way it is written as an interview but I enjoyed it.

My 12 years old daughter made me read the book (she had to read it in her English class). I loved it, it's original, I was surprised. A really good book to make kids reflect!

Loved that book at the very beginning of it!! It is captivating, hard to stop reading it. I had to remind me to relax while reading it since I was stressed out for Lydia and Luca's life. It reminded me that so MANY, too many people faced that kind of shit and how grateful I am to live where I live and for the life I was born into. I wish I could do more to support those poor people though. Things like that should not exist.

La vie secrte des crivains | Guillaume Musso

I always liked Guillaume Musso, easy read. Kind of book you can sit and read in one time. Not sure if it is available in English though. Reading in French is so much faster for me, that may help to like the book;) It's distracting, nice intrigue.

M Train | Patti Smith

An interesting book that you can read and analyse from different angles. I guess I was more on the side of the very not “artist“ person so some stuff seams a little bit like a non-sense to me. It made me question myself, made me try to get more open-minded about differences but it did not make me want to know more about Patti Smith, even if I tried I feel a little kind of indifferent. I'll have more thoughts about it and this feeling may change.

Such a great discovery that book was. I had no idea what I was reading when I started but I really loved it, love the characters, I really got into the story. An original story, different, that makes you believe in good people.

Such a good book!!! So close to what some country are living right now... sad but true.

My second book of Louise Penny. I am usually not a fan of that kind of book and I just could not put it down, loved it!! A good mix of intrigues and good people you want to be friend with.

First read of this Louise Penny. I read it in French (would have prefer to read it in English) but it was a great book. Not the kind I read often but I really enjoyed the intrigue.

August 2019 in OC:
Just loved that book from the start to the end. Read it in no time and realized at the end of it that the author is from my country so I just want to read his other books. Not so far I sure from some other country's reality and makes me want to know more about the subject and what I can do to help... If I can do something.

July 2019 at the beach in OC, MD: Great book to read at the ocean 😄. I was first disappointed when I realized the whole book was around one single action that in reality does not interest me at all but then I concentrated on the main character instead of “the action“ and saw how there was deeper stuff to look at. A book about resilience to me.

July 19 at the beach: I read that book a very long long time ago and could not remember it and wanted to... so I read it again. I think I am going to keep more from it now, beautiful things to keep in mind all life long.

My daughter had to read that book at school this year (grade 6) and I was curious about it. I read it very fast at the beach, it's good and I can understand how kids her age would love it.

I read that book by curiosity as I loved that group when I was a young teenager. These guys were pretty disgusting but the book is well written.

Too though for me a lots of time in the book, too dark, too much weird sexual stuff and too much “québécois“ speaking. Keeps you on your toes though and wanted to see where it was going so I read it until the end. Won't read from this author again.
