Caught Winston telling me how he *really* feels about me reading on his 3rd birthday.

"You're going to settle in with a book after ONLY 2 hours of presents, breakfast, and playtime? Fine, mahm. Pffffft."

Finally, someone sends me a cat! I didn't think it would take this long, tbh. 🤣 This cutie wakes up their human @4thhouseontheleft by purring every morning.

What's the kitty's name? 😻

"Hi, mahm! I see you're about to start a new book. Think you could take me for another walk first? How about second breakfast. I'd even settle for tossing the ball around the backyard. Actually, I'm just going to stare at you until you pet me because my heavy breathing is really distracting. If you ignore me, I'll fart. Don't make me do it, mahm."

Ringo here has triggers that lead to intense staring that can easily last an hour. Words like "walk", "puppaccino", "dinner", really get him going.

We had just gotten back from a walk with an end result of puppaccinos, a perfect day in his book, and I think this stare was one of appreciation. ?

This baby's name is YODA. 😍 He adoringly stares at his human @CBee no matter what activity is happening. Also, he's very tolerant of holiday attire. 10/10 good boy. 💕

This cutie pie, Gunther, has crossed rainbow bridge 😥 He was a master at the staredown. He made sure to let his human @Hooked_on_books know he was hungry well before his dinner time. He'd also hint strongly when he wanted treats later on in the night.

Seriously. He just sits and stares at me like this when I read. If I ignore him long enough, he'll go behind the couch for a nap, but I usually cave and pet him before then.
