A fabulous debut. Magical realism perfect for lovers of literary and historical fiction. Read the full review at www.litwitwinedine.com
This book was somewhat disappointing. I really enjoyed Room but The Wonder paled in comparison. Please check out my full review at www.litwitwinedine.com I read this book on my Kindle so here is a gratuitous photo of my Newf refusing to come in from the storm.
I'm hosting a #giveaway for this book. Ends tonight at midnight. Enter to win at www.litwitwinedine.com

I am loving this book! I'm about 1/3 through it. So far, I would describe it as a beautifully written fairy tale for grown-ups.

I'm a little glad I forgot my Kindle at my gf's in NJ. It gave me the opportunity to start this book. 700+ pages can be a lot, but at 116 pages in, I'm really enjoying it.

About 1/2 way through this book and loving it!
2nd half of this book was a pleasant surprise as I didn't love 1st 1/2. Though cat. as general fiction, I would call it smart chick-lit with a focus on family dynamics and romance. Not really my passions but I thought it was well-written and can understand why such good reviews. A solid debut.
I Bought this version on EBay because I wanted my kids to have the same version I had when I was a child. Love the illustrations. I'm reading a few chapters aloud to them every evening.
Sadly, I didn't seem love this book as much as most people. I would've like more detail re: the psychology of cults. I felt Russell's character was a bit underdeveloped. Overall, though, a solid debut. Just not all I'd expected after reading such overwhelmingly positive reviews. 3.25 stars
47% read and this book feels very chick-lit. I'm hoping I sense the shift to mystery/thriller soon.
