#wildwildwest #HeatOfJuly 1 of my favorite parts of western U.S. history pre-dates what some consider the history of the west.Californios!They were usually considered to be a Spanish speaking Catholics born in Alta California between 1769 & 1848.They had humongous land grants located in what is now California given by Spain which all fell apart with the gold rush & California being made a state.Many place names remain.Lonesome Dove?because its 👍.

Ddzmini I know I keep adding books to my tbr on Litsy it‘s out of control and I buy books so often my husband thinks I‘m book crazy so I‘m trying to finish the books in the house before I get anymore it‘s just not working out 😖📚📚📚📖 6y
