I love the whole idea of a resting place for unfinished works! This was a great book, can‘t wait for the next on the series.

This started out a little slow, but once it got going i couldn‘t stop. The narrator did an excellent job.

This was an ‘okay‘ book. Some of the story line was a bit unbelievable. But it was a freebie, so, nothing lost.

Initially I was a little turned off by the back and forth time line. In the end, however, it really built the suspense of this book. @Sunraven thank you for this beautiful bookmark. I love the artwork!

I am trying to read through my stack, this one has been there for a while. Does anyone else find that the more you read the BIGGER your TBR pile gets?

SauerPatch I lived in OK for four years, and honestly a high of 94 in late July seems like a cool spell! Probably a different area of the state though. 🙂 (edited) 2mo

I have to hand it to Neil, he put on a heck of a performance He almost made astrophysics sound exciting, at times. I think I sprained my brain trying to make sense of it all. 😂

Bailedbailed

For me, Nothing ruins a book faster than a totally preposterous and impossible medical incident. I‘m out.

DGRachel It's always fascinating to me to see the different lines in the sand that readers have. Mine is almost always if the dog or dog-like character is killed - 95% of the time that is an instant bail. Also, I struggle with bad information about cars, especially American muscle cars. 2mo
Lexeegee It‘s all about perspective. I‘m a nurse, medical inaccuracy gets me every time. 2mo

I almost gave up on this book, but kept going. I‘m glad I did. The most disturbing part is this could really happen.

JeansBookshelf Why'd you almost give up on it? I have it on my Kindle. Need to read it still 3mo
Lexeegee @JeansBookshelf the actions of the husband really messed with me. I was so frustrated with him. It was so obvious there was something twisted about this little girl, but he refused to see it. I wanted to smack him in the back of the head. 3mo
