so-soThis one is a pretty quick adventure. Dass and Rooper are the main protagonists since they're the youngest and have the most need to grow, comparatively.
I like the themes of the book and I like seeing an older version of the Jedi. It's not revolutionary and it could've had more detail, but I enjoyed it as it is 🙂
I'm realizing that I uh...I should probably finish more books that are on my Currently Reading list instead of continually starting on new books & adding more to the Currently Reading pile 😅
pickBeautiful and sad and hopeful and everything Star Wars is to me. I was deeply moved and touched by it and now of course wonder where it'll go. I'd love to stay with the characters longer, get to know them better. Honestly, I don't want to say goodbye. And also - Ember ❤ ❤

I really liked this installment on Obi-Wan during his Padawan years. It provided some insight into his struggles with the Force and his place in the universe. Although a YA title it hit on some deeper issues of loss, grief and purpose.

so-soListened to the audiobook...the narration was good and I liked seeing more of Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan in action together. But overall, the plot was pretty simple, I wasn't too attached to any of the side characters, and this felt like....a pretty basic Star Wars book compared to others.
I've enjoyed two of James Luceno's other Star Wars works far more. Decent, but not a must-read.
