Pickpick

I enjoyed this book written by six authors about various people right before and right after the Pompeii eruption.

Thanks @Cinfhen turns out I couldn‘t get through the Harris book either.

Good choice of a time period for #BookedInTime @Cuilin It was new to me.

TheBookgeekFrau Sounds interesting - Stacked! 8mo
Cuilin #RomanCivilization ✅🎉 sounds like an interesting read. 8mo
Cinfhen Ohhhh, I‘m glad you picked it up!! It was definitely easier to read and helped bring Pompeii to life. It really helped me visualize the vibrancy and devastation that occurred in Pompeii while I was there visiting last week. 8mo

Cuilin Fabulous 🎉 8mo
jenniferw88 The subtitle is 'A Marcus Didius Falco Mystery' so using this for #tbrtarot @CBee as I doubt it'll happen otherwise for August! 8mo

@Cuilin these are my two options for #romancivilization but probably going with tagged.

I do have a back up if I don't get on with either, which I forgot to put on here - The Thieves of Ostia by Caroline Lawrence. It was one of my favourite series when I was younger, so it'd be interesting to revisit as an adult!

Itchyfeetreader Vindanda is a good call I think my husband has that - also maybe he has some the Simon scarrow novels 9mo
Cuilin Great choices. 9mo
