A #fairytale and #picturebook for 5yo and more children. Children have big imagination and Nino has it too. He was lonely and missed his father. So he created an imaginary dog which was special for him.
I also like pictures inside this book. They are so beautiful with all these autumn colors.

The Big Book of Equestria | Orchard Books & Cartwheel

Setting time aside today to read with my 5 year old who is currently learning how to read. It may not be my choice of literature, but she loves it and thats all that matters. We gave purchased the works of Roald Dahl for her Christmas so hope she catches the reading bug too.

I was really looking forward to this. @Sarah83 gave it to me some time ago.

I read it with the kids and was underwhelmed. Totally blame the translation though. Unfortunately the other books were translated by the same person. *huge_sigh*

My daughter gave it 5/5 stars, with the caveat that The Girl Who Drank The Moon got 10/5 stars. Means, we agree on a So-So because of the translation.

We love this book: "Muss mal Pipi" by Manuela Olten. (Have to pee)
It's about a boy who would like to be allowed to pee standing, but has to sit while doing his business. In town he has to go to the Ladies' with his mom, and his mum explains how to prevent catching germs. Then, one day, he's bold enough to go to the Men's bathroom ...
It's hilarious.
It was gifted to our family when my son was little and we all love to read it.
