After the long haul of my last book, it was absolutely lovely to reread one of my favorite plays of all time. This is such a tender look at three kids figuring themselves out and just doing their best. Add that to caring sibling relationships AND a budding queer romance, and this is a slam dunk for me. 💙💙💙 #lgbtreads

Well, I finished my read(s) for #LMPBC and still have a month left. I am not sure if I send it now or wait, but it was definitely a very good read and I hope the rest of #GroupO will enjoy it. Also, I am not sure how it happened, but I ended up reading a graphic novel with similar themes for #GroupU (also really good). This book is the June Book for my local LGBT 🏳️‍🌈Book Club! I just joined a few months ago and had to miss a few recent meetings, but I am excited to be getting back to it. We meet monthly at a local brewery and it is a pretty fun group of people. I am also starting this book while reading essays for the AP Lang exam in Tampa (because who travels without a book?). #viloniareads #vhsreads #lgbtreads

Focused on identity, prejudice, and grief, this book is an easy read that deals with complex topics and emotions. Benjamin Alire Sáenz always does such a wonderful job of creating characters that are so beautiful and sweet. This is a great book to read while waiting for the Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe sequel to finally be released!
