Pickpick

This book is why I love international books. They‘re always so different from what is traditionally published here in America and I find that so refreshing.

Overall, I found this novel to be beautiful and thought provoking! If you‘re looking to try something new and a bit different, pick up this book!

Great commuter book. I am falling in love with every page. It‘s is not serious read, but it‘s heart felt and full of teenage angst. Beautiful blending of worlds and even random small characters. Haven‘t finished it but I really enjoy this author. #ya #immigration #ambw #interracial #Korean #Jamaican #sciencevsphilosohy #summerread

I am hooked to this book.

It‘s my day off and I‘m on the edge of maybe getting a cold and the best cure for a cold is JOOK. Korean rice porridge to the rescue.

May #bookhaul number 2: Chinese and Korean books. Three at the top: Mo Yan's Red Sorghum; Yu Hua's Chronicle of Blood Merchant and Brothers. The one at the bottom is monumental (900 pages with all the comments and appendices!) XIIIth century work by Buddhist monk on ancient Korean history named Samguk Yusa. #TBR #bookshopping #chinese #korean
