Today‘s haiku is inspired by me, an oft solo diner, trying to break my habit of saying “just one” to the host when I eat out. I am content, at ease with myself & my own company & more than “just.” Also, no, I don‘t want to sit at the bar.

Trying to unlearn
That quiet, small “just one” phrase
I am whole, not “just”
