Check out this M/M Romance
I don't usually read historicals that are this late in time, because I tend to keep sliding into modern day. That happened here too, especially since I have been to all these places and on all these roads. And I always start road trips with On The Road Again, which is a better song than the forgettable film it was written for.
I don't actually believe anything is a #GuiltyPleasure but I still wanted to join #TitlesandTunes I hope you don't mind!
I‘m still packed in storage but I did manage to bring in some LGBTQIA+ books for Pride! Gonna try and tackle these all this month, but it might carry over into July. And I‘ve been itching to do another read of the tagged book. One of my all-time favourites! 🏳️🌈🏳️🌈
This was such a beautiful book. I loved Manny. He's such a great character and *everything he went through* 😭 Have you ever watched Under the Same Moon? This reminded me of that movie except way darker and traumatic. Like bro, I can't believe people are capable and willing to do these things (and yet here is 2023 proving me wrong) #gayromance #lgbtq

Plot. Yes. This #book has plot but you know what else it has? Amazing characters, character interactions, and a meet-cute #romance that has me crying and giggling into my hands. OMG, this gave me so many cavities! I LOVED IT. #gayromance

Loved it! Fun quick fantasy read with a smoking hot gay romance. I loved the fire mage instantly and his bf grew on me too. #fantasyromance #gayromance
Saturday night's read. I had yesterday off, but didn't get any reading done. I watched all of season 2 of Bridgerton instead.
As I sat home at that same time, I wondered what effect the pandemic would have on our books, movies, and other forms of creative expression. As we grapple with a world that is opening up but is still deeply at risk, I‘m still wondering. I look forward to the time this is all a difficult memory.
There was something deeply pathetic about lingering in town for days after graduation, but Peter Cabot had long since made his peace with being deeply pathetic.#firstlinefridays @ShyBookOwl
Today's #bookmail is a 1960s road trip with grumpy/sunshine heroes romance.
