Fascinating memory of noodle delivery in the first half of the 20th C Japan. It will leave you hungry for soba.

I wouldn‘t use this book in my classroom. It seems a little long and not made for a lesson, I would have it around for fun
I loved the story of this book and it was very interesting learning that this does happen in Tokyo. Made me want noodles!

Last Monday I receive a package from @ElizaMarie and I don‘t know if that is the #FallingForFallSwap package But I behaved and didn‘t open it 😌

My #SpeculativeSpringSwap box arrived but it doesn‘t indicate the sender‘s name. Thank you in advanced Litsy friend!🥰It is so early, more than a month to open it. I know....this is a test of patience☺️🤗

Well my day got a bit better when I came home and discovered my Book Outlet package arrived today! Yay Book Mail!

#ReallyRandomFebruary Day 26: In practically all the images in the story, you can see the Mailman on the background, moving away, as if he isn‘t really part of the community that he is serving, always on the periphery. While the lonely mailman delivers these lovely letters to all the #animal(s)in the forest, he goes home alone, without a single letter addressed to him. My review of this disarmingly lovely book from Spain: https://wp.me/pDlzr-hgv

It‘s arrived! Looking forward to opening day 😊 @Nessavamusic #readinthenewyearswap
