I actually really enjoy this and the premise sounded like something wild to me about a world in a carpet. Coworker mentioned it and I decided to give this a go. Really interesting and keeping me reading.

pickA quick, sometimes beautifully written novella that contains a vast mythology. Barker‘s work is fascinating, and it is now difficult to separate it from the movie franchise it spawned. The movie varies only in a few places from the book, so it was impossible for me not to picture the actors as we read. I want to read more Barker!
