willaful @BarkingMadRead I originally read this as an adolescent -- my mom had a lot of mysteries. And I remember trying to reread it at some point and finding that I couldn't follow it at all! I guess I had passed that period of reading where you don't understand much anyway so everything just kind of flows over you. 😂 2d
