Slow build. Murder mystery.
I thought it was an okay book.
Definitely not a favorite.

This is a wonderful family saga story from a Vietnamese author. I learned quite a few new things about the history of Vietnam and the culture through this story. It was heartwrenchingly beautiful. ❤️ #bookclubpick
What a delight of an American Classic novel❤️ Ray Bradbury‘s novels have always changed my outlook on reading and how words can transform the way things can be written and seen in life. This was no exception! A story of friendship, and conquering your deepest fears. #bookclubreads #bookclub #bookclubpick
This book was chosen for a One Book Community Read. My Book Club always reads the annual choice. This year, the author is a resident of the town. There were so many reserves for this book, that I did not receive it until weeks after our meeting. Decided to read it anyway. #bookclubpick
@Cinfhen You will recognize the Library! 😉
The wedding setting is a remote island off the coast of Ireland. The Bride, Jules, is a successful magazine publisher, and the Groom, Will, is a TV star on a Survival type show. They are a striking couple. Jules receives a note under her door, saying Will is not to be trusted. Who wrote the note? Can Jules trust Will?
A fast and fun read. All you have to do is try and figure out who gets killed! Enjoy the ride

I loved this novella and can't wait to read the rest of the series! The school for wayward children houses those who have travelled through portals to other worlds and are now stuck in the 'real' world and can't adjust to their old life. The writing captures the whimsical and the melancholy, the grief of not belonging and the hope that one day you will find your door home again. It was poignant, mysterious, and a little creepy. I enjoyed it a lot
Next book club pick! I have no idea what this book is about and have never heard of it before now. Going in blind we‘ll see how it goes ☺️ #bookclubpick #neuromancer
I‘m finally finished with some sneak reading at work. 🤫
This is a very close between a so so and a pick for me, leaning towards a pick. It took me a really longggggggg time to get into it, but the second half flew by for me. I disliked Ellie from page one and was most intrigued by Christopher. Anyone else? I‘m curious about your thoughts on this one.
