pickMy love for WWII books started with Anne Frank. Since then I bet I‘ve read hundreds. Now I look for those that focus on the uncommonly told stories like this one about Jews in Turkey and how the government of Turkey helped Jews escape from Nazi-occupied France. Kulin centers the story on two Muslim Turkish sisters and their families. Audio narration is awful.
