I‘m a bit late but here‘s my August Wrap up.

Best book for the month has to be Silence Fallen by Patricia Briggs but I really enjoyed everything I read this month with the exception of The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald.

I won‘t finish Black Water Lilies tonight, so my slowest reading month of the year ends with 10 finished books and several bails. On the bright side, three were 5 star reads, making it nearly impossible to pick a favorite. I‘ll take quality over quantity, if I can‘t have both. I cleared 6 books from my NetGalley backlog and checked off 4 books from the McIlvanney Prize longlist. #auguststats #augustwrapup

I read 13 books this month, so it was a good one! The tagged book was my favorite, but Finlay Donovan was a very close second.

This month I set out to read fewer but longer books, so I'm happy with my 5 books, two of which were really long.

My current read is a chunky boi so I doubt I'll finish anything else. I had a pretty average reading month quantity wise which was nice as I was still settling into my new job. Highlights were the tagged, Hitty, and Ruby Fever. One unusual thing is that I read no eBooks or audio this month everything was in physical copy. I think next month I'm gonna have to try and not be a mood reader and catch up with my BookSpin backlist only.
