Even after reading some of #Triptych and watching Nightmare on Elm Street, this wasn‘t the best thing to read before bed, regardless of it being a graphic novel.
BECAUSE IT HAPPENED.
IT WAS REAL.
Drawn and written by author-artist and former classmate ‘Derf,‘ he constructs a clear picture of how a mentally disturbed Dahmer grew up in an environment that shaped him into a serial killer. So many signs. So little done.

I flew through this, even listening while at work and staying up way past my bedtime. This was the first in the Will Trent series and it was definitely a gripping read (or rather, listen). The book starts off strong and continues at an excellent pace with lots of interesting characters.

Giving this #audiobook a try since I've had it on my #audible account for awhile. The story is so good I've been able to overlook the narration, which I normally find super distracting. #triptych #karinslaughter
