1) Hard pick. I‘m working my way through a series I‘m really enjoying so it‘s hard to pick one. I‘ve chosen the tagged book because it most resembled a thriller and very dark secrets were uncovered

1. Holly by Stephen King was a fantastic book to listen to in September.
2. A “staycation” with an overnight and several day trips planned to explore home next week, my husband will be traveling for work for 10 days, so I‘m looking forward to some self-care alone time book-ended with activities with my college kid! A run one weekend and “Spirit tour” the next. It‘s a full dance card! ❤️

1. I thoroughly enjoyed the screenplay of THE THIRD MAN for #BookedinTime. It's been a while since I've read a drama/script, and it helped to better understand the movie starring Joseph Cotton and Orson Welles.
2. For those who have seen my whiny comments about the heat, it's the weather in October that I most look forward to--when the high temp might be below 90 F. 😃

My favorite book of September would be Forgotten on Sunday by Valerie Perrin, which will not be a surprise to those who follow me. She understands my need for emotionally intelligent writing. The Tender Bar came in a very close second.

October brings the peak fall colors in my neck of the woods and lots of reading time. @The_Penniless_Author Are you going to the Burlington Book Festival this weekend?
