Spring in my yard today!

To The Dandelion
Dear common flower, that grow‘st beside the way,
Fringing the dusty road with harmless gold!
First pledge of of blithesome May,…

The magnolia tree we planted the spring after Robert was born, still stands talk and majestic, even after it was split during the 2011 Halloween Northeaster.

Bird song, warmth, finally, our Magnolia tree we planted 22 years ago the spring after Robert was born has flowered! It's the "Robert tree". We anticipate its petals unfolding every spring. ?❤️

kspenmoll @Suet624 @Bibliogeekery @Cinfhen Thanks so much! We love it- maybe more so because the blooms last only a week, at most, two. (edited) 7y
Bklover Oh, thank you for the picture! I planted a magnolia three years ago (and another last week) and it's amazing to see how it will hopefully look one day! Gorgeous!🌸 7y
kspenmoll @Bklover This tree is huge now; it was only a couple of feet when we planted it! Now we have to trim it to keep from power lines! Yours should be fine/ scary how time flies... 7y
