Just starting this now. For January, my favourite read was The Authenticity Project. February it was Prequel by Rachel Maddow. And from those two, Prequel is moving on. For March, Hamnet by Maggie O‘Farrell was my favourite. The best of the rest was Killers of the Flower Moon. Looking forward to see what my favourite for April will be.. 🤔 #readingbracket2024
#ReadingBracket2024 March fiction update
Wow wow wow this was such a tough month to choose a favorite, I read so many amazing books! Narrowing it down to just two was still extremely difficult but I decided to choose one fantasy and one romance for the bonus slot.
#ReadingBracket2024 nonfiction update for March
Fine was a really great nonfiction comic but Better Living Through Birding is ultimately moving ahead

January: The Dragon Republic by R.F. Kuang
February: Dead Wake by Erik Larson
March: View From the Cheap Seats by Neil Gaiman
Bonus: The Burning God by R.F. Kuang (from January)
My March pick was more by default cause I finished only 2 and both were pretty meh. This one was just a better meh I suppose lol. I have higher hopes for April. #readingbracket2024
Whew, it was tough narrowing my March reads down to two! I‘m very happy for the bonus slots! #ReadingBracket2024
I did not have any 5-star fiction reads this month, but Killers of a Certain Age was exciting, action-packed, and funny.
I liked Big Swiss a lot and I was hoping it would win, but it faltered a bit and at times I was not really sure what it was going for.
Before the Coffee Gets Cold and The Raging Storm were both just fine, nothing remarkable.
