Another great book by Taylor Adams I‘ve never given a book a 1 star review, and after reading this book, I don‘t think I ever will. This was a twisty-turny thriller that leaves you questioning what is really happening until the very end. A must read.

“After posting a negative review of a horror novel, a woman staying at an isolated beach house begins to wonder if the author is a little touchy—or very, very dangerous—in this pulse-pounding novel of psychological suspense and terror from the critically acclaimed author of No Exit and Hairpin Bridge.”

I have a box for 'Les Huguenots.' Have you heard the De Redzkes? Might I trouble you then to be ready in half an hour, and we can stop at Marcini‘s for a little dinner on the way?”

I'm not sure how this one got on my TBR because it's not something I would normally choose but I ended up really enjoying it! The dual timeline between when the kids are trapped in the room and then going back through the last year, discovering their secrets, was compelling. I didn't want to stop listening.

Kenyazero Nice! Way to stick with it even though it's not your usual cup of tea. I love when that turns out well ♥️ 2d

I finished this in mid March & I really enjoyed it! It may have been a little wrong & one of the twists was predictable for me, but still plenty of twists & surprises! Another of McFadden‘s that I highly recommend!

This was pretty good! It all got a little far fetched, but it kept my interest and was a good read. (15)

Finished while foraging! (🌿 Coltsfoot)
I sped through this in a handful of “sittings (more like walkings haha).
Yet another good one in the series, and no need to read the previous if you don't want to or can't.
This plot seemed a little convoluted but still, I love the characters and the whole premise. Casey's sister will be an interesting addition to further plots I imagine. Could have used more Anders time 😏
