📣 Just a quick note to say that #LitsyLove is closed. If you would like to continue writing to your pen pals that is absolutely fine! It was wonderful for the first several years, but it is not the same. I am busy with work, a sick husband, and a grandchild on the way. Too busy to deal with senseless drama from grownups. The lies that are being told are unbelievable, but I expected it! I have never been anything but good to my Litsy family! 👇🏻

Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks I am thankful for the true friendships I have made here! You know who you are! We did a lot of good for a lot of people in our group and that makes me happy! I devoted a lot of time and energy to this group and for someone to make up lies about “feeling unsafe” in this group is very hurtful and disappointing. But it is what it is and this too shall pass! Eggs I understand. Not the same for me either with my frequent visits to Tim‘s assisted living facility, 3 kids and 5 grands. I agree #LitsyLove was great, especially opportunities to help others, including hospitalized kids, stamps for @Sleepswithbooks , birthday greetings, newsletters, letters to the grieving, Christmas cards, etc. Met some amazing people! @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks (edited) 6d

Bookbuyingaddict Thank you it was wonderful really enjoyed it , I will still write when I can to my lovely pen pals , don‘t understand the comments you‘ve had about “feeling unsafe “ i was welcomed with open arms 🤗 and felt nothing but warmth kindness and book loving 🥰 friendship. Read4life I received several care packages over the years & truly loved this group. My own health issues, my husband‘s injury, mother‘s dementia and other difficulties have made it too hard for me to be an active participant. I‘m thankful for the letters over the years and wish all of you the best in every aspect of life. 💙💙💙 6d

julieclair Oh my, Misty. This makes me so sad. #LitsyLove was such a special, caring, welcoming place, whether people were able to participate a lot or just a little. You truly poured your heart into it and it showed. But I totally understand how life circumstances change, and sometimes there‘s just not enough hours in the day to do everything. ImperfectCJ I just saw this, and I suppose it explains why I don't see the shared address list anymore. I stepped back a while ago because the list just felt too overwhelming to me so I'm not aware of the comments you're referring to, but the group was a source of joy for me between 2019 and 2021, and I'm sorry to hear that the situation has brought you stress in recent times. 17h
