I‘ve had this on my TBR for far too long.

Vera is the product of whirlwind relationship between her young parents. She has grown up only seeing her father on weekends, but after she suffers a psychotic break in high school, her dad becomes someone to #leanon.

This is the story of the time they spend in Lithuania during the summer after Vera‘s psychotic break. I read this author‘s first book and gave it five stars. #septemberdanes

The characters in Ishiguro's novel definitely #leanon one another.

George and Lennie have nothing in the world except each other and a dream - that one day they will have some land of their own. Lennie has a ‘mild mental disability‘, and is deeply devoted to George. He has to rely on George for protection and guidance. #leanon

What do you get when you have an essentially reclusive poet and an abolitionist activist? The answer: one of the most enduring friendships. Wineapple explores this friendship in a book I‘ve yet to read but snagged when I withdrew it from the library. Sounds fascinating, and as a Dickinson fan, I can‘t wait to read it. #LeanOn #SeptemberDanes
