A little late as I'm just getting back from vacation but these are my June reads!

Favorite: Radium Girls

#junereads #junewrapup

EchoLogical Radium Girls and Barracoon were such good books but they broke my heart! 7mo
j9brown @EchoLogical Oh yeah, I know, part of me wished Barracoon was longer but emotionally it was a lot to take in. 7mo
EchoLogical @j9brown Right? Cudjo lived such a hard life. 7mo
j9brown @EchoLogical Just horrifying. So so sad. 7mo
StillLookingForCarmenSanDiego Some great reads. Radium Girls looks so good. 💖📖💖 7mo

My June Reads. I'm somehow reading at a slower pace this year than years past and am consistently behind by one book to reach my year end goal. Regardless...faves this month were Storm of Locusts (why do I have to wait a year for the next one!), Women & Power, and Saving Bletchley Park.

Should have shared this yesterday but oh well. Here‘s my reading recap for June. How many books did you read? #bookish #readingrecap #junereads

June was heavy on the nonfiction (9 of 13) for whatever reason. It wasn‘t planned, but I‘m not mad about it.

My only 5⭐️ was Fight Like a Mother because of what Shannon Watts and all the “Mothers and Others” have accomplished. The writing is decent, but the subject matter is close to my heart.

StillLookingForCarmenSanDiego Lots of great reads there! 💖📖💖 8mo

June was a pretty good reading month for me. There were a couple of duds but also a lot of wins. My favorites were City of Girls, The Valedictorian of Being Dead, Ask Again, Yes, and Bad Blood.

ShelleyBooksie How was search and rescue? Sit and Stay also looks interesting. 8mo
Nessavamusic @ShelleyBooksie Search & Rescue was cute, it was free if you have Audible membership last month. It‘s a novella. Sit & Stay was also very cute and profits pet rescues! 8mo

I didn‘t get to everything I wanted to read last month. But I did get to squeeze in a Dresden File book.

My June reads. 8 books total. My favorite being #TheDreamDaughter.

In July I hope to complete the All Souls trilogy with The Book of Life, finish book 8 of Outlander series, and also finish Firefly Lane. Other than that I‘m not sure where my reading will take me. I‘m definitely feeling more of a romance mood this summer.
