Ayesha at Last | Uzma Jalaluddin

This who know me IRL know that I am not a fan of Pride and Prejudice and can not tolerate P&P retelling. Well, folks, I have found an exception! AYESHA AT LAST is simply delightful. Set in the Muslim community in Toronto, Jalaluddin does an amazing job of bringing new life to a well-worn tale (with a healthy dose of Shakespeare) while weaving in unique cultural details. #highlyrecommended #books #romancenovel #ayeshaatlast #uzmajalaluddin

This was a free Audible YA book, so I had no idea that I‘d enjoy it as much as I did. The writing and the narrator are high quality and a pleasure to listen to and young Maeve Merritt is the best protagonist I‘ve read thus far this year—feisty, smart, and complex. Highly recommend. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Simply amazing. This has easily become one of my favorite books EVER. I'm going to have to read more of Irving's novels. I loved it. Even though the #audiobook was recorded on tape (!) it was still really well done. Love love love. Homer Wells ♥️
I'm rambling, but I urge you, if you haven't yet, read it! #highlyrecommended #favorite 🌳🍎

Chelsea.Poole @kaye it was on mine for years too, and finally I decided I would place a hold on the audio through the digital library. When it came in for me, it was my time to finally read it and I am so glad I did! 3mo

Swe_Eva @Chelsea.Poole I probably stopped reading him around 1987 or so, so I‘ve not read that one. I loved all of his early books, though. I really need to check if I still do. 😂 3mo

LOVE!!! I cannot stop talking about this amazing book. I have recommended it to so many people at the library.
TJR brought these characters to life for me, and I'll not soon forget Daisy, Billy, Camilla, Karen, and the rest of the band. The hype you've seen about this one is warranted. So many heart eyes 😻 also, it is an incredible #audiobook #highlyrecommended 🌟

BooknerdsLife I‘m really loving the book too! Wish my library has the audio book too so I can run my chaos while still reading it! 4mo

Book number 20 of my year and I‘m about 60 pages in already and I absolutely love this. They are the three novellas that the author wrote to be read after you read the series or after you read each book 1-4 I am currently waiting for book 4 in the mail so I decided to read this now.

Caffeinated_Reader In Time last thoughts: 😭😭😭 I knew how it was going to end but still. Reading it from Gabe‘s point of view was much more emotional. I was balling my eyes out willing the book to change and for him not to walk up first. He is still Zu‘s hero and I am glad they “got out” and found each other💔💔 5mo
Caffeinated_Reader Sparks Rise last thoughts: broke my heart in a whole new way. Lucas & Sammy. Jesus. I want to rip up every book and rewrite it. Make Ruby get back faster. Make Ruby get back in time to help. 💔 4mo
Caffeinated_Reader So much greatness! I am amazed and extremely giddy with the way the last story ends. Beautiful. Makes me want to give writing stories another try. I just wish every book had a little side novella to go with them. This was my first series I‘ve read with one and it‘s expanded my experience and made it more noteworthy for me. So grateful I read this series. The last book will be delivered tomorrow so I can‘t wait to finish the series & movies🥰 4mo
