#WDNCW @dabbe I do not care that I had to wear my glasses askew for 2 days until I went to get them repaired as I took them off my face to see my phone while outside and they ended up on the ground. The arm was off like by a mile. So crooked on my face, I went to do my market today. I don't care that I might have looked funny today. Sigh! It's all good now. 👍

mandarchy I just did a little Googling. The gold fish on the left is significant in vietnamese culture, and among other things, it represents perseverance. The fish kite on the right is Japanese and represents the hopes and dreams parents have for their children's success. 2mo

We do not care that I‘m wearing socks and sandals around the house. Yea, it‘s true, I used to think when “old people” did this it was a crime against humanity. Now that I‘m kind of an “old people,” I just don‘t care.

And I don‘t care that the report for the client is “just a draft.” Both of you (my associate and my paralegal) proofed it and when I get it there shouldn‘t be any misspelled words!

LiseWorks Oh dear lord, I see old people do this all the time, lol. Yes, I think it's a crime, too! Since I can't wear sandles (feet problems force me to wear insoles), I will never resort to that hehe even if I'm old. 3mo

Liz_M Socks + sandals is absolutely a young person thing, too! I don't think I've seen a teen/young adult/new adult on the subway in sandals without socks recently. 3mo

Texreader @dabbe I tried to be nice about it, my paralegal is very young and sensitive. But the word “destroyed“ is not spelled “destoyed“ and if a sentence has two were(s) in it, there should be two nouns! It's for a presentation to a bunch of very prominent individuals on the Board of Directors. 3mo

dabbe L😍VE! I actually insisted that parents email me with their questions and to NOT call. It was imperative to have a written record of who said what, and phone calls never allow you that--unless you're recording them. And yes, work on those writing skills, people! 🩵💙🩵 3mo

DGRachel @Bookwormjillk I‘ve found that the people who insist the most on phone calls are the people that just want to whine or argue. We do not care about why they think they shouldn‘t have to do something. After 25 years doing this job, I‘m not fighting with you. Do what you‘re supposed to be or don‘t get paid. Your call. 🤷🏻‍♀️ 3mo

DGRachel @dabbe I struggle with phone calls for several reasons. Most people accept it when I tell them that and ask them to put their questions in an email. Every so often though… 3mo

Bookwormjillk @DGRachel in my work people who want calls usually want to transfer the labor of documenting their BS to me. 3mo
