#LilithJuly #DontDreamItsOver made me think of the movie Field of Dreams. An Iowa farmer hears a voice in his corn field tell him, "If you build it, he will come." He interprets this message as an instruction to build a baseball field, upon which appear the ghosts of Shoeless Joe Jackson & other baseball players. When the voices continue, Ray seeks out a reclusive author (J.D. Salinger) ??

This is a lovely book, an easy read and beautifully laid out. And I mean just look at the cover! #CoverLove This book takes you through Greek and Roman mythology, it gives you low down of who is related to who, and what each god rules over. It has some great illustrations that bring the book to life, along with some pictures of "modern" (in relation to these ancient gods) art associated with them. A great beginner to mythology! #Mythology #Dreamy

•However, would you be offended by this- the owner commented I need to narrow my genre/author favorites? Going from lit-mystery-vintage books raised an eyebrow. First time my book buying habits have come under scrutiny.

TheKidUpstairs I would be offended! I generally find booksellers are excited by broad reading tastes. Being open to more genres is a great thing, not something to be narrowed down! 7y

Jess_Read_This @TheKidUpstairs Thank you! My husband said I was probably too sensitive. But it was insulting. I told him I wasn't in it for money but a hobbyist collector. He said that didn't matter but I should "narrow it down" ? 7y

TheKidUpstairs @Jess_Read_This not too sensitive at all. Collect/read the books that make you happy! Such a ridiculous comment for him to make, both as a book person and from a customer service perspective! 7y
