Have been meaning to read this for years finally getting around to it and finding it hard to put down. Makes me want to visit the Dolomites.

Wife/mother disappears, did her lawyer husband kill her? Written from various points of view. The children all have different beliefs and reactions to this tragedy. Fairly good read. I give it 4/5

If you‘re looking for an excellent mystery with suspense, betrayal, and corruption, I highly recommend The Ruin by Dervla McTiernan. It‘s the first installment of the Cormac Reilly Mystery series. I purchased the audiobook from Audible. I loved the beautiful narration by Aoife McMahon. I could listen to her all day!

I messed up, I read this Bosch out of order.Still enjoyed it , but I didn‘t read the intro book for Renee Ballard that comes before this one too. 🙄The one before this one was used on the TV series , so I know what happened anyway, unless they changed it. 😄Ballard & Bosch work well together after their initial suspicions wear off. Another cold case murder & a San Fernando gang related investigation.
This was a great mystery - loved the main character so much I‘ve requested the first book in the series. Happy to have found a new series to get into thanks to @kspenmoll and #auldlangspine
Yay for #buddy reads! Almost done with Cooking for Picasso & The Rescuers #sundaybuddyread #childrensclassicread3024 #january
The three below are in process. I should finish Maisie Dobbs this week. #serieslove2024
Of course all my library holds for #auldlangspine came in at the same time. In the middle of both of these and enjoying both of them. @kspenmoll @monalyisha
The reader was great in this book! DI Cormac Reilly has transferred to Galway because of his girlfriends work. The atmosphere at the Garda is strange. He's assigned a cold case that he witnessed 20 years ago. Aisling's boyfriend Jack has committed suicide, his long lost sister Maude returns convinced it was murder. And the cold case revolves around Maude's mothers death.
A really good start to this series! I'll definitely read the next one!
