Well, it‘s taken me all year, but I finally have a #litsycrafters project! December is baking theme, and they are my favorite projects because you eat it at the end 😄
My husband, Chris, graduated with his MBA yesterday! 🎉🎉🎉
This was the celebratory cake - Coconut Cream Cake 🍰 from the Heaven on Seven cookbook.
Wow, this book is quite the journey!!! It has so much packed in that at times it felt like too much (exes, the Dixie Mafia, countless characters, a ranch, characters haunted by their pasts, etc.) I really enjoyed the book, I do feel like parts could have been left out and the story would have still been okay, but over all it was a good book. Recommend.

Some crazy comedy in these crazy times. I just felt like the cheesy jokes and comments took over the whole story. Just as I was getting into the book a dopey joke would take me out. I struggled with this one. 😢

I found this book very hard to read with the written southern accent.
It was a cute story.
Three Little Cajun Pigs by Mike Artell is a TL spin off of the original tale of Three Little Pigs. This story uses a southern-creole spin to the story. The funniest part of all? The big bad wolf is a, GATOR! Students will enjoy reading this classic tale while learning about other cultures. I would use this in the classroom as a S. The resource I found was a comparison of the actual tale of the Three Little Pigs to this version. #UCFLAE3414SU19
TL/Anne Izard Storytellers' Choice Award/ RA/ This book is about animal tales from the South. I like the variety of tales and how beautifully illustrated the book is. I particularly liked the tale of how the bear people lost fire. This particular tale is from the Native Americans from Alabama.
