This book about a little girl who breaks into a bear families house teaches the lesson of how your actions might affect others. This book is a good book for younger readers.

I enjoyed reading this book because I used to read stories like this when I was a child. This book is a classic example of traditional literature that almost all know. Goldilocks is just a curious girl who ends up at the wrong house.

This book is a classic story that we all know, many versions of this story have been released, but the premise or message almost always stays the same. Goldilocks finds a house and tries the daddy bear porridge but its too cold, the she tries the mommy bear porridge but its too cold. Then she finally tries the baby bear porridge and its just right.

I found this photo. I think this sweater is perfect because is light, practical for tropical weather (with a/c on☺️)

Review:
This book has black and white illustrations that follow along the text very well. If the text says something, the illustrations often say more. It has a good flow that is happy, with ups and downs, and a happy ending.
Blurb:
This book would need a bit more time to be read, but I think it would be great for k-3rd.

I read this to a tough group of 3rd graders. Kids have a hard time understanding who narrates this book. They will argue. This will lead to a wonderful opportunity to support their argument with text evidence. And then map story elements. Because I'm a teacher. Seriously, a good book.

Hooked_on_books Your graphic is so good, I thought it was part of an article and was looking for a link to click. 😂 9mo
suvata @sblbooks I kind of forgot about this series. I started it several years ago and then just lost track. Thanks for reminding me that I should pick it up where I left off. 9mo
suvata @sblbooks I thought this one was great too. Much different than what I have expected. 9mo
suvata @sblbooks Agreed. This series is some of the best sci-fi that I‘ve had the pleasure of reading. 9mo

kspenmoll I like your idea of a halfway thru the year list- helps for the 12 month list to come! 9mo
BarbaraJean Oh, this is a great idea. I'll have to look at what my favorites are so far. I started a list recently, but I can't find it now!

And: I love Matilda!! That was the first book I remember being aware of as a new release. I was in 5th or 6th grade and I was so excited that my favorite author had a new book out!

3 ⭐ I love the Bruce books. Ryan T Higgins is a new favorite author that I will buy anything he writes. However, this says this is a level one reader. Compared to the Disney‘s world and reading books from the 80s in the 90s. Yes, this is much easier. However, this is not a level one reader. There are big and complicated words in it. There are lots of lines per page. This is not a level one reader but it is a fantastic book.

A lovely book with five stories about a group of toys having adventures in the playroom.
