Book 8 in the Bookmobile Cat Mystery series and I'm finally getting to really like the characters. Minnie still does (and says) a lot of ridiculous things but at least Rafe, Ash and Kristen are a bit more logical. #69-2022

Set in the 1940′s, this is a remarkable story that highlights the lack of justice during that time (even though the justice system today has a LONG way to go). This book shows how important it is to stay true to yourself. To never give someone else the opportunity to take and shatter your personal dignity; that you came into this world alone and, unavoidably, you will leave the exact same way. Book #69 in 2021

I listened to this one on a road trip I made yesterday. It was written to and for Coates‘ son and narrated by him. It feels almost sacrilegious for me, an old white woman, to comment on it, but it affected me greatly in my efforts to be empathetic. It was quite good. Love his writing no matter what it‘s about. #100YEARS100BOOKS #69 #BookSpinBingo #7 #BFC21 #NUTSinMAY

Book #69: This one is a recommendation from a friend! Liked it but I think it‘s gonna be better suited for a Netflix series, which makes sense because the author is a screenwriter too!
