#audiobook re-read with the kid.

We loved it.

My daughter hasn't read the Time Police books yet. Following the timeline of the characters she should start with them now. I envy her the possibility, because I read the books in order of publication.

julesG @TrishB That's where you should start. Time Police is introduced in book 4, but gets its own spin-off series between books 9 and 10. The spin-off series shouldn't be read before book 9 (spoilers). For me this is the perfect palate cleanser or comfort read. I see its flaws but I can ignore them. (you know me, it doesn't happen often) 8mo

Happy Pub Day to the 14th novel in The Chronicles of St Mary's series!

Wanted to start the day with an immersion reading/re-read, but have to wait until the US crosses the dateline for the Audible pre-order to be fulfilled. 🙄🤬

The publishers granted my wish and I got a #NetGalley #ARC of the 14th novel in The Chronicles of St Mary's series. That happened while I was somewhere between #8 and #9 in my "great TCoSM re-read". I've meanwhile finished the re-read and re-read the ARC. ?

It's a different St Mary's novel, because most of it happens in the future - you know, the desk job Max took up in #13. It's also a novel that looks back at the series, ⬇️

julesG Little remarks here and there & quotes from previous books. I had the feeling this was to be the last St Mary's story ever. Circles closing, etc. And then there were three seemingly small words right before the Acknowledgements that made me sigh in relief. 12mo

#CatsOfLitsy #ShadowCat #GhostCat and I are enjoying the sunny afternoon. I had to switch off the doorbell though. Seems every neighbour is getting a parcel and not answering their door in time, so the impatient people working for DHL, UPS, Amazon and Co kept ringing my door.

Nearly done with the tagged #ARC. If only there were less appointments and disturbances.
