Baking Bad: A Parody in a Cookbook | Walter Wheat

My husband is inviting some guys over to watch the fight tonight so I got my baking on! Made my grandma‘s Buckeyes and vanilla cinnamon popcorn - a Christmas staple! Two bags of planned popcorn, mixed with half a pound of vanilla candy coating (melted) and 32 drops (3/8 tsp) of food grade cinnamon oil. Mix WELL and let harden on wax paper. Christmas in your mouth!

witchyreader13 Also, Buckeyes are amazing. I grew up in Upstate NY and we always called them “chocolate covered peanut butter balls.“ I moved out to Ohio for a few years in my 20s and discovered they had another name that was much less of a mouthful. Lol 3y

Got off work at 10pm & finished some baking projects & started others. In the process, I finished my audiobook of Jane Eyre, which I will review later (spoiler alert: it was awesome)

Well....I haven't picked up a book in days but I have been doing a lot of baking!!!! 2 more cheesecakes complete and a ton of Queen Anne squares done. Cherry cheesecake in the oven as we speak. Kaye Sounds like a deal to me. I don‘t get up that way very often. Last time I was in Canada was at Niagara Falls in about 1967. Maybe someday I‘ll make it back up there. 6y
