pickShmutz did not go at all the way I expected. It defies the all the beats of the typical sheltered-girl-casts-off-the-shackles story. BEST TITLE AND COVER DESIGN @TheBookHippie have you read this one?… I was completely addicted to this novel about a young Hasidic girl with a secret porn addiction. It‘s bad enough young Raizel owns a laptop but the fact that she‘s using it to watch porn is a shande a disgrace,a terrible embarrassment, a scandal!! How will she EVER find a Shidduch (match)? This book was hilarious 😂
pickAside from the fantastic cover and title I was completely addicted to this novel about a young Hasidic girl with a secret porn addition. I loved listening to all the Yiddish expressions that peppered the pages adding such an authentic flavor to this hilarious but contemplative coming of age story.
