The wasteland between Xmas & New Year can be one of the lowest times of the year. And for those with seasonal affective disorder (or any form of mental illness worsened by Winter) the prospect of Jan-March is nothing to look forward to.

It reminds me of a series of poetry I handed in, in my last year of high school, that my friend was absolutely incensed that I got an A+ for 🤣 because it was deceptively simple.

(I'm ashamed to admit under these circumstances that I actually quite like winter - an excuse to get all cosy on the couch and read... ❄️🧣 But I agree the darkness is harsh sometimes - especially when dealing with mental health issues... *blush* Bsbsbsbssss... *mumble* 😅
