This was a good cozy mystery about a woman who moves back home to open an egg farm. And of course a body shows up when they start digging for the chicken coop.

I liked this one well enough. The setting and side characters were interesting. I listened to the audio though and just found the MC deeply annoying. 3/5 bc the story itself was fairly good.

A cute and funny cozy with a twist that I didn‘t see coming! I enjoyed that it was in a small town with plenty of small town gossip to go along with it!

I was a little nervous going into this one because of being vegan, but I genuinely enjoyed the story. I May overly relate to the main character about being 50 and starting over…. But I do not have a red porche convertible. I‘m glad this was a #cbbc book @Mommamanzi ❤️

This one was the last book read during May #20in4 #Readathon @Andrew65 and it was the book for me to read for #CBBC @mommamanzi

It was a light cozy mystery with funny scenes and the expected town gossip. I didn‘t expect that twist. The protagonist has sometimes impulsive personality🙄and there will be second chances. Do we expect a sequel?🤔🤷🏽‍♀️3 ⭐️

Yes, I love the extras😍I love to do scrapbook and decorate my journals which means that those washi tapes and paper pack are perfect👌The mug describe my mood state during my first cup of coffee at 3:00 am 😳before my training. Chocolates are always welcome😋and the coffee will help my “awake-is” mood🤣It seems that everyone who had read this book have enjoyed it! Thanks🥰

Awe, I really enjoyed this one. It was cute. I am a bit of a “city“ girl so I would be totally lost drying to own/operate a farm, but ... I moved to VT and feel very “country“ now! Joshua wants a coup and everything! (We will see)

So, we don't have a rooster that lives near us, but we have a goose. He makes noise throughout the day and night. But not annoying just... he likes to say “hi“.

My husband really wants to get a chicken coop. So... maybe chickens will be in my near future!

Quirky and fun small town crime mystery. Leona returns home after a divorce and wants her independence. She‘s a determined older heroine who‘s decided to start a chicken farm. Before she can finish her coop she finds a dead body. Will admit it took me a bit to warm up to, but I did and I plan to read the next book in the series too. And I adored her chickens, including Dr Speckles, Boots, and Alarm Clock.
