Ina‘s microwave hollandaise recipe was easy and delicious! I love lots of lemon in my hollandaise and Ina adds a LOT (maybe too much?); I just added a little less the 2nd time I made it. But HOLLANDAISE in the MICROWAVE!!!!!

Prairiegirl_reading The barefoot contessa has never failed me. I also LOVE Jacques Pepin. My favourite baking cookbook is called Flapper Pie and a Blue Prairie Sky, so many classic recipes that my grandmothers used to bake. It made me tear up a bit. 3y

My dad is desperate for new books and not allowed to go to the bookstore because my mom is immune-compromised. Yesterday he finally asked for my help in ordering some reading material. It was a game of “one of these things is not like the others.” Here are his authors: Stuart Woods, Dale Brown, Jim DeFelice, Randy Wayne White, JA Jance, Harlan Coben, Alex Berenson...and Ina Garten.

Apparently he‘s been watching cooking shows. 😆

Couldn‘t resist the new Ina book today.... love her recipes and entertaining style. Casual but elegant, foolproof recipes that always work.... already marked a ton of pages with things to try.... first up this weekend will definitely be the grilled oysters with lemon dill butter.... it‘s always grill season in SoFlo! 😎🌴🦪🔥
