"Torn between duty and survival, nothing can be the same." Everything Ivy Morgan thought she knew has been turned on its head. After being betrayed and then nearly killed by the Prince of the Fae, she's left bruised and devastated-and with an earth-shattering secret that she must keep at all costs. And if the Order finds out her secret, they'll kill her. Then there's Ren Owens, the sexy, tattooed Elite member of the Order who has been sharing Ivy's bed and claiming her heart. Their chemistry is smoking hot, but Ivy knows that Ren has always valued his duty to the Order above all else-he could never touch her if he knew the truth. That is, if he let her live at all. Yet how can she live with herself if she lies to him? But as the Fae Prince begins to close in, intent on permanently opening the gates to the Otherworld, Ivy is running out of options. If she doesn't figure out who she can trust-and fast-it's not only her heart that will be torn apart, but civilization itself.

Book 2 in this series and it‘s so much better than book 1. We learn who Ivy is and the story really moves at a good clip. The romance between her and Ren is sigh worthy. I‘m glad I stuck out book 1 to get here. Off to read the 3rd and final book in the series.

4.6⭐️ is it a corny story, yes it is. Are there moments that I stopped and thought WTF, absolutely. But it‘s still such a great story. There is definitely a little predictability to it, but not enough to make you lose interest. There are some heart wrenching moments, but absolutely worth a read. In fact, I almost enjoyed book 2 more than 1, and I can‘t wait to start book 3 next month.

My first read of June was a success! I really liked that this book contained straight after the first one, and the plot was so enjoyable. I loked the plot twists even though I saw most of them coming it was still cool how everything played out. The romance is so cute and Tink is just as hilarious,Ivy is such a cool MC. The pace was good to begin with but I did find the last quarter to be a bit slow, I liked the ending and can't wait to read Brave.

Book 2 in the trilogy. It definitely has that middle book feel at points where you know an author needs a book 2 but can tell most of the action will probably come in book 3. Still had some great parts. It‘s a pretty easy read & not too surprising for a NA fantasy. There is some steam. Plus again Tink is such a great character! I want a book with just him! #bookspinbingo
Also don‘t really get the covers. I don‘t think they portray the book well.

A part of the wicked trilogy. These are being made into a movie. At least the first one. It‘s always fun to see an adaptation.
I‘m trying to reacquaint myself with my TBR while on a book buying ban for the month.

This was even better than wicked. There was a ton of action, drama, hilarious, and romance throughout the whole book. This will have you at the edge of your seat.

A little better than the first one. Still confused by the underwater cover as there isn‘t any water in this story. The plot picked up a little but I‘m still having a hard time connecting with the main protagonists.

Finished Book 2 in the car on the way to work. This one may be even better than the first. Definitely more edge-of-your-seat moments. Started book 3 on the way home from work. Of course, I'm listening to these on audio while driving.

The book wastes no time jumping back into the story. Ivy is a pretty bad ass character, and in this book we get to see her really struggle to remember who she is. ⠀
Supporting cast, Ren, and Tink again made the book 10x more enjoyable. At first, I took my time listening to this audio. The narrator is wonderful and I wanted to savor the story. But I got to a certain point in the book and could no longer take my time.

That-Bookish-Hiker Is the first one good? I love her stuff but have been hesitant to read this one for some reason. 8y
WolfeWillRead @That-Bookish-Hiker I laughed so hard while reading this book. Wicked was actually the first JLA book I had ever read. The first book got me hooked on her writing. 8y
