Good. Full of twists and turns. Even though the story was good the ending felt a bit rushed and a bit convoluted.

Most of the book was a big blur... "WTF am I reading???" Trying to figure things out, eye rolling at the different developments of the plot, to finish on a disappointing note, the end being rushed, not really tangible, and quite disappointing... Also, the characters weren't well developed, some could have easily been interchangeable.

This book was very anticlimactic for me. I found myself having a hard time remembering who was who and what happened to each person. The ending fell flat for me and was predictable. It was only fair.

This was definitely a case of the right book at the right time. It‘s far from perfect and some of the twists felt a bit forced, but I honestly couldn‘t turn the pages fast enough. I think my brain needed a break - and this delivered.

Tanisha_A I know what you mean by needing a break with reading something fast paced. Just picked up The Silent Patient! Hii! How are you? ♥️ 4y
TrishB Yeah, only serial killers are doing it for me at the moment! 4y
youneverarrived Sometimes that‘s exactly the type of book you need 👍 4y

JennyM @Tanisha_A @TrishB @youneverarrived @Birdsong28 it‘s mad that thrillers are now a comfort read, but there you go. 2020! 🙃 4y
