My daughter as Harley Quinn in 2015. This costume came out cute but was one of the hardest costumes I have ever made. It was a stretchy (I say that loosely) glossy latex looking fabric that was a polyester and polyurethane mix that was impossible to work with.

Another busy weekend serving fish and chips at the Ohio Renaissance Festival. It was pirate weekend, so I had to make sure I got a picture with the lovely @cobwebmoth as pirate Harley Quinn! 😍 These weekends are fun, but they are killing my reading time. I think a late night start to Wizard and Glass is in order.

This was...disappointing. I liked the artwork, but even that isn't enough to redeem this plotless mishmash of a comic. I get the sense that this was written to pander to potential female comic fans, not to really dig into Harley's back story. (A catty slumber party? Really?) I struggled to finish this volume, which completely defeats the purpose of leisure reading.

Although it was a disappointing movie, I loved Margot Robbie's interpretation of #HarleyQuinn. Digging into these #DCComics for a bit to brush up on her backstory. First thoughts: Joker's a jerk & I can't wait to see how she & #PoisonIvy link up. #comics #dcuniverse #supervillains #ladyvillains
