pickI have mixed feelings about this series. I enjoy it over all, but sometime the dialog can feel a bit clunky, and there are definitely eye roll inducing clichés, I am also really over the continued presence of one of the former love interests. BUT. I love the cast characters and the sheer number of women who love and support each other, the character growth readers have been witness too, of course the baking and hedge magic.
pickKatie's wedding is just a week away and everything is going well until her future SIL's ex husband shows up, and later is murdered. SIL found him and is a suspect. This is enough for Katie to get involved, but there is magical residue as well. I really enjoy this series, and I really enjoy it on audio as I really like the narrator.
pick5/5 for the next in this series. This so such a great cozy series. This one was full of drama and twists. I loved every bit of it. Katie and Declan are so cute together. It was awesome to see Declan‘s family. I can‘t wait to read the next one.
pickBook #10 for the month, and #9 in the Magical Bakery Series. Katie and Declan are in the final days leading up to their wedding, but of course there's a murder that Katie gets drawn into. This time it's her future sister-in-law's magically attractive ex husband. I figured out the mystery of the music box from the get go, but this is still a fun read!
