This book is three novellas by three different authors and each novella is part of a different series. Each murder is written around the theme of cocoa. I‘m not sure any of them works very well as a one-off, but it has brought three different cozy mystery series to my attention and I might look into one or all of them. It‘s a pick mostly for that reason. And for those of you who bake, two of the novellas provide recipes. 😋

Three stories, lots of fun murder mysteries- the first about a Santa who ends up dead in a dunking vat full of hot cocoa, the 2nd mystery involved a patch of ice, but the 3rd was my favorite- a holiday themed escape room! This book has a few recipes, this is probably the one I like the sound of most. Chocolate and chilli is a combination that sounds bizarre but works. I may have to try this!
